Sustainability commitment — MatchWalls

At MatchWalls we believe interior decoration and environmental responsibility are compatible. Our sustainability commitment is reflected in every decision we make, from the materials we choose to how we manage logistics.

Responsible materials

All our wallpapers and murals are manufactured to comply with the most stringent European regulations. Our Non Woven wallpaper is the most sustainable option in our catalogue: it contains no PVC, is breathable and its production has a lower environmental impact than traditional vinyl finishes.

European production

All MatchWalls production takes place in Europe. We work with WECO B.V., our Dutch production partner with over 18 years of experience, which allows us to reduce the carbon footprint associated with goods transport and guarantee fair working conditions under European regulation.

Made to order

One of our core principles is made-to-order manufacturing: we produce no stock that could generate waste. Every wallpaper and mural is manufactured when the order is placed, in the exact size the customer needs.

Responsible packaging

We continuously work to reduce plastic in our packaging and increase the use of recycled and recyclable materials. Our goal is for 100% of packaging to be recyclable or biodegradable.

Peel & Stick wallpaper: the reversible option

Our self-adhesive (Peel & Stick) wallpaper is the most sustainable option for temporary spaces: it removes without damaging the wall or generating paste residue, and can be reused.

Commitment of exclusive use of clean energy. All our manufacturing plants and main offices are also fed by energy sources sustainable and we want to reach 100% of use of clean energy.
Shared responsibility with Suppliers.
Personalized and on demand: We produce each roll of wallpaper, mural, canvas or art print, only when requested, thus avoiding excess production.
Ecological adhesives. We use water soluble adhesives to assemble our wallpapers.
Reduction of returns. Thanks to our high quality and dedication to customer service, we achieved a notable decrease in the number of returned products.
Ethical origin of wallpaper. We elaborate our wallpaper from forest sources managed sustainably.
Packaging ecological We guarantee the sustainability of the materials used in our packaging.
